I’m selling my 2007 XT225, with 615 miles and a few upgrades. I’m asking $2,200 for it, no trades. I’m in northern Michigan, Traverse City area, most likely a long way from you, so I’m asking less for the hassle of the long drive to come get it. It’s got Devilman oversized footpegs, Z-1 mod to the exhaust and rejetted for sea level, Uni air filter, Renthal #971 handlebars, and Acerbis Rally Pro hand guards. Stock tires are mounted, and I also have DOT knobbies: Michelin Baja front and AC10 rear with heavy duty tubes. I’ve changed the turn signals to flush mount in the rear, and narrower stalks in front. I have 14, 15, and 16 tooth countershaft sprockets, and a handfull of new oil filters. I bought the Yamaha extended service plan contract, good through 10/14/2010, and I also have the Yamaha service manual.
I lived in Moab for 10 years, and have no interest in owning a motorcycle in Michigan. I've been spoiled by the best there is, so I'll just coast with my memories and pictures for now.

These will fit the XT-225 easily. Just have to cut a small slot in the rear fender so the pipe doesn't melt it

OK, I was on these forums quite heavily a few years ago when I got my XT. Then it got stolen. Never thought I'd see it again, but someone got pulled over riding it, and now I have it again. It's been painted black and all the street parts are gone (blinkers, tail light, and the controller for these). But it runs great. There's now a rip in the seat and the ignition switch has the cap broken off so I think any correct sized key will work on it.
I also have an FMF Power Core 4 that fits it for $100.

I am selling a 1 Gallon custom aluminum gas tank.
It measures 14" long by 10" wide by 2" deep.
It is partially filled with fuel racing foam to prevent sloshing and has a marine flush mount fuel neck. The fuel neck and screws are all stainless steel. It is also fitted with a brass 45 degree fuel fitting. All it needs is a barb fitting for fuel line.
It is coated in black Scorpion brand bedliner material.
I am asking $50 plus shipping to cover my investment.

Want a dual sport helmet, but don't want to pay Shoei or Arai prices? Well, I have a white AFX FX-37ds helmet in size XL for sale (size should be similar to Shoei sizing). I has both the clear and smoke shields. This helmet has only been worn a few times, since I find myself grabbing either my street or dirt helmets and forget about this one. It is in like new condition with no nicks or scratches. The helmet is very light, has great visibility, and breathes well. You can also wear goggles underneath the shield if you like. Set of XT225 wheels (DID Japan OEM rims) and tires complete with rear drum/shoe ass'y, sprocket, disc, speedo drive, etc, are up for sale. They have never been abused, bent, jumped, etc. Still look new. Never been flat/punctured or run low.
The wheels, brakes, etc have 2000 miles on them. The OEM tires (unmounted) have @800 miles on them and there are still a few nibs, the mounted Distanzias have about 700 miles on them- still well nibbed up.
