As many know the dreaded "internal server error" pops up after you spend considerable effort trying to create a ride report. I've had next to no luck getting to the bottom of this cryptic and unpredictable situation. I've done some rudimentary analysis on my own and have formed some conclusions.

It seems there are some words used in posts that trigger the error. I've removed "s elect", "from" and "where" from my posts and have mitigated the error. Note I put a space after the s in "s elect" because it causes an error in this post. Sadly it isn't as easy as just not using certain words. Where they appear and what other words/characters are around these words matters.

For example, I got the server error after finishing my Ouray III RR. The caption for the last photo used the phrase "from where" and when I reworded it the error went away. I pasted this into another caption closer to the top and I couldn't recreate the error.

As a suggestion, when you build up RRs it might be a good idea to hit Preview Post after each picture insertion and caption. If you get an error you'll at least know which block of code/text is the trigger. Remove the words above and see if that helps. I've had to delete words one at a time off the end of sentences to discover this. I think the list is bigger than just the three words mentioned above.

I'm aware of the problem and will try to find a better fix. In the meantime thanks for being patient.
