Just a update ,I have a title in hand the odometer reads under 9500 miles but the title says not actual because a Judge had to order BMV to issue the title. The owner never titled it as they only road it on trails, I have it Insured, titled, registered ect. Respectfully Steve

Sorry to see you pull the plug on your '95 XT225 project Steve. However at some point it's better to step back and rethink your approach than to continue forward when you're really not sure how to proceed.

I think most of us trust that you'll move on to the right bike for you, one that'll serve you well for as long as you have it, getting you there and back again whenever you want to fire it up and go.

In the hands of the right person your '95 will soon return to life. But if you're anything like many of us once we get past maintenance procedures and mods and into mechanical/electrical issues that require considerable know how to untangle, things can get sticky in a hurry.

Keep in mind that many of the add ons you put on your '95, things you paid good money for, will work on whatever newer XT you end up with. So don't be too hasty to get rid of everything at a bargain basement price.

Anyway, best of luck with the bike sale and keep us posted as your hunt for the right replacement progresses. Hopefully it'll be another XT, one without the issues your '95 had.

Hi Steve,

if you were nearer to me I'd have come over to sort it for you. Shame that she's now got to go but just think of all the positive things that you've learned in the process!

Good luck with the selling process and let's hope it's not too long before you're back on the road on two wheels.

Hi Steve,

well it has to be worth that!

It would be worthwhile for one of our US clan to buy the bike, fix it up and keep it for us Europeans to ride during visit's to the US!!!!! Now that's an idea!
